Crabtree Kitchen + Bar – the CENTENNIAL

This farm to table restaurant is all about paying homage to the last century and looking forward to the next 100 years. Backed to Centennial Park, views and natural light are abundant. The palette is a composition of glass windows, live-edge tables, wide-plank floors, a granite bar and soft, brown leather upholstered seating.

Reclaimed wood takes center stage throughout the dining room and bar as well as center stage at the Chef’s Table and Garden Room. The overall design highlights materials and pieces reused from the community, including tables made from trees from the locale. The focal-point Garden Room design follows the concept of the jewel box and adds another layer of intimate dining and opportunities for private gatherings.

Various types of seating allow for levels of formality; traditional tables to banquettes, the bar and hand-made Chef’s table. Table dividers are herb-filled planters that bring greenery into the space.

A rotisserie and part of the kitchen faces the dining room, allowing diners a view of the preparation and cooking in action. Dry-aged beef which is raised on the family farm in Kingston highlights Crabtree’s goal to connect people to their food.
