Rice Fergus Miller Wins Training Center
Bremerton, WA- Rice Fergus Miller has been selected to design a multi-jurisdictional
training facility for fi re and law enforcement personnel in Snohomish County.
Snohomish County Fire District 7, Woodinville Fire & Life Safety (King County Fire
District 36), the Cities of Everett and Lynnwood and the Snohomish County Sherriff
have teamed together to construct a Regional Emergency Response Training Center.
The training campus will include Class A & B burn props, live-fi re drill towers, confi
ned space props, administration offices, classroom space, emergency vehicle driving,
and other training and support spaces. The approximately $25 million project
will kick off with a master plan effort in August for the 50-acre site.
Rice Fergus Miller teamed with Elliott, LeBoeuf & McElwain, a Virginia engineering
firm specializing in fi re and police training centers. Both fi rms are well-known in

national conferences regarding the design of emergency facilities.
