Quincy Square Bremerton, WA

What began as a grassroots ad hoc group of local business owners and residents wanting something better for a forgotten section of the city has become a success story for revitalizing a small city’s downtown.

Believing in this vision, Rice Fergus Miller has diligently worked on this project pro bono for three years. In 2017 it partnered with the City of Bremerton, who obtained Community Development Block Grant funding and funding from the State of Washington Legislature, Quincy Square is now closer to reality as ever. In 2018 it was also awarded direct appropriation funding from the State Legislature.

When completed, this section of 4th street will have the ability to be cordoned off and serve as public square for events focusing on the arts, entertainment, and community building.
