Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue Fire Stations 22 and 25

Standardized equipment, training and procedures have clearly benefited the fire service industry. Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue wanted a standardized station that would realize both cost and operational efficiencies.

Two stations fit the bill – standardized gear storage, identical building materials, matching sleep rooms, the same restroom/shower facilities, and duplicate equipment and furnishings to name but a few of their standardized elements.

Pictured here, Station 25 features polished concrete floors throughout the living spaces and warm wood ceilings in the kitchen, dining and day room. At 8,825 square feet, there are six sleep rooms, and three double-deep drive-through bays for the apparatus.
