Bayview Retirement Community

Bayview Retirement Community is a high-rise Life Plan community with 360° views that occupies a city block in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle.  Founded in the early 1960’s as a non-profit, Bayview’s mission is to serve the well being of its residents.  The community consists of a 10-story tower with 127 residential apartments on the upper floors and 44 Assisted Living units currently occupy the second and third floors of the tower. A three-level healthcare center was added on the south side of the campus with a 50-bed skilled nursing facility, along with a wellness center and children’s day care.

In 2014 the Bayview Board, embarked on a master plan process to reposition the aging campus.  The goal was to assess and create a long-range campus strategic plan that would strengthen the campus and its community.

A transformation is happening that offers even more amenities, including three upscale dining options, a fitness center and pool, an updated entry, and outdoor terraces. Plus, a health service expansion and the addition of a memory care wing.
